In the May Primary, I was elected to be the Male representative for District 43 to the State Democratic Executive Committee. This meeting is where all of the representatives come together to form the caucuses, elect leadership for the 2026-2030 term, and address any bylaw changes. This event is open to the public and I'd be happy to speak with anyone about the SDEC or the General Election while I'm there!

This Special Primary Election is occurring do to courts ruling that Alabama can revert back to old maps previously deemed as having intentionally racially discriminated against the black community. The only Districts affected that are voting are Districts 1, 2, 6, and 7. Our District resides in District 6, so we will be voting again. This is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the 2026 General Election, so please register if you have not so you can send me to Montgomery to fight for you!

Please check your voter registration before this date as the current Secretary of State has been purging voter rolls and there have been numerous instances of active voters being removed.
